Post Congress Seminar of the European Region of WCPT on physiotherapy education

The European Region of WCPT arranged a Post Congress Seminar on physiotherapy education for delegates from the Member Organisations in Estoril, Portugal on 6th November 2004.
The aim of the seminar was to analyse the conclusions of the European Congress on Physiotherapy Education and discuss the implications for further work to be developed by the Working Groups of the European Region of WCPT.

Statement on the occasion of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe, fifty-fourth session

The World Confederation for Physical Therapy, WCPT, aims to improve quality of global health care by encouraging and supporting high standards of physiotherapy education and practise. The commitment to ensure high standards and quality of service is reflected in the WCPT Declartions of Principle and Position Statements adopted by the General Meeting in 1995 and later revised in 2003.

Framework for Clinical Guideline Development in Physiotherapy

This document describes a framework for the development of clinical practice guidelines within the European Region of WCPT. The framework has been developed in a collaboration of The Chartered Society for Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy (KNGF). The methods for guideline development of CSP and KNGF have been used as well as several other international guideline programmes.
