Message from Sally Catchpole, Convenor, IPPA Conference
2005
Physiotherapy Business Australia,
the private practitioner's group of the Australian Physiotherapy
Association, is delighted to invite physical therapists in private
practice from all over the world, to join us in Melbourne in September
2005 for the next IPPA International Conference.
We have an exciting
program planned to stimulate and inspire all participants and many
opportunities to network professionally and socially with local and
international colleagues.
September in Melbourne is superb, a vibrant multicultural city full
of colour, glamour, fun and style. Our conference will reflect these
elements and is guaranteed to send delegates away with INNOVATIONS
of their own to turn clinical initiatives into business profit.
We look forward to seeing you all in Melbourne in September 2005 - make
INNOVATE part of your next holiday - we will show you a great Australian
welcome.

Message
from Jean Kelly F.C.S.P., Chairman, International Private
Practitioners Association
It will be a very great pleasure for IPPA to welcome as many delegates
as possible to enjoy the hospitality of the 3rd. International
Private Practitioners Congress in Melbourne Australia in 2005.
We
thank the National Private Practitioners Group of the Australian
Physiotherapy Association most sincerely for being our hosts at
a wonderful congress centre in Melbourne. The programme is exciting
and challenging and includes a wide range of clinical and business
sessions that are important in private practice today.
Most importantly
there will be plenty of time to share your experience of private
practice with others from around the world. The world may be getting
smaller and communication methods may be getting easier, but there
is no better way to learn from each other than meeting face to
face.
Each of the IPPA Member Organisations from 19 countries world-wide
will be represented. They bring with them the passion and commitment
for the profession of physiotherapy that we all share. We hope
that as many delegates as possible from all the Member Organisations
will attend.
We only get this opportunity every
four years, so make your plans now. Come to Melbourne - perhaps make the congress part of a holiday
in Australia . Meet old friends and make new ones from around the
world. There is nothing more stimulating than an international congress
and private practitioners world wide are known for working hard - and
having fun!
The Executive Committee of IPPA looks forward to meeting
you and helping you to network with your international colleagues.
Come and contribute to the discussions that will help to shape
the future of IPPA.
Jean Kelly F.C.S.P., Chairman
International Private Practitioners
Association
