Preparing and submitting your abstracts

GENERAL

Before preparing your abstract, please read the general information on presentations, categories of presentations and information to be included in abstracts for specific presentation categories.

Your abstract must meet all the requirements listed in these instructions or the review committee cannot consider it.

Abstracts will be reproduced in the proceedings exactly as submitted, including errors or misspellings.

All abstracts must be written in English.

PREPARING THE ABSTRACT

Refer to the specific instructions relating to the category of presentation you prefer for the sub-headings and information you should include.

At the top of your abstract, type the TITLE OF YOUR PRESENTATION IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Start at the far left side of the box.

Immediately following the title, type each author's last name and initials. Do not include titles or degrees. Underline the name of the author who will present this work at the Conference if it is accepted.

Immediately after the author name(s) place a semicolon and then type in the name of the organisation or clinic in which the work reported is being carried out and the city and country in which it is located.

Leave one blank line between this identifying information and the text of your abstract.

The content of the abstract must follow the form and sequence outlined under "Categories of Presentations and Abstract Submission Requirements".

Type sub-headings in capital letters at the start of each section of the abstract.
