Registration and Information Desk

The International Private Practitioners Association Conference 2005 Registration and Information Desk will be located on Level 3, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and will operate during the hours listed below:

Wednesday 28 September 2005 4.00pm – 7.00pm
Thursday 29 September 2005 7.30am – 5.00pm
Friday 30 September 2005 8.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday 01 October 2005 8.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday 02 October 2005 8.00am – 2.00pm

All registration materials, including name badges, tour tickets, Conference dinner tickets and Conference handbook may be collected from the Registration Desk during the times listed above.

Car Parking

590 undercover parking spaces are available at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Entrance off Siddeley Street Located in multi-storey carpark. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Early Bird $8.00 Mon-Fri (in by 10.00am out by 6.00am next day). First hour $5.50.
Maximum charge $20.00.
Friday and Saturday nights after 5pm $7.00 (out by 6.00am next day).

Air Travel within Australia
ETM Group has been appointed the official travel agency for the Conference. ETM offers special flexible/ changeable Conference airfares at up to 40% discount in economy class on Qantas services or the best internet or published airfares available on Qantas and Virgin Blue Airlines when travelling internally within Australia.

Conference Fare:
Qantas is proud to offer their support to the Conference with a special discount of up to 40% off the FULL economy fare (excl taxes). The Conference fare is flexible and fully refundable with no cancellation fee up until 72 hours prior to departure.

Discount Fares:
Delegates may prefer to take advantage of the best internet of published airfares. Promotional fares are often more affordable than the Conference fare. However, they do have conditions attached. Most are non-refundable if cancelled. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. ETM will advise the best fare availability and conditions of purchase at the time of booking.

International Fares
Discounted international airfares are available when 10 people or more are travelling on the same
outbound flight. It is suggested that you contact your local airline office (within your country) regarding
the best airfare for your preferred dates of travel.

Discounted domestic flights within Australia apply to all delegates.

Early booking is advised. To ensure the BEST possible airfare available, ALL delegates are urged to contact ETM on 03 9521 5355 or ippaflights@etmgroup.com.au and quote the Conference Code IPPA 159 when making your travel booking.

Local Travel
Getting to the Conference venue from Melbourne Airport

By Taxi: A taxi from Melbourne airport to the Conference venue will cost between AUD $40 - $50.
By Bus: The Skybus provides an economical way to and from Melbourne Airport and Spencer Street Station. Skybus operates half-hourly services to and from the city between the hours of 6.45am and 11.40pm, then every hour on the hour. The current cost is AUD$13 per adult (one-way). The telephone number of Skybus is +61 3 9335 2811. On arrival at Spencer Street Station, you will need to change to tram numbers 48 or 75 from Flinders Street to get to the Conference venue.

Name Badges
All delegates and speakers will receive a name badge on registration. This badge is the official pass and
must be worn at all time during the Conference to obtain entry into sessions and meals.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include personal travel or health insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all Conference participants arrange their own travel and health insurance as the, International Private Practitioners Association Conference 2005, Convention Secretariat and Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre do not take any responsibility for any accident which may occur whilst attending the Conference.
