How to print a pdf Document
Go to Member InformationTop of Page

Many important documents on this website are available for download in user friendly Acrobat pdf versions. They are marked like this:

Pdf is a special document format which allows display and printing in a fixed layout. If you click on the link shown above, the pdf document opens in a new window and can be printed by pressing the print button in the menu bar at the top of the window.

To open a pdf file, the free software Acrobat Reader has to be installed on your system. It can be downloaded from this link on the Adobe website. You will also find the Adobe Acrobat logotype in the upper right corner of the website. The logo is linked directly to Adobes download server.

How the navigation works
Go to miscellaneous DocumentsBack to Member Information

The navigation consists of two different elements.

The top navigation contains different sorts of service elements. You can search for information on this page, download files or view the list of related website links.

The navigation in the left frame leads you through the contents of the page. If you click on a menu element with a "+" in front of it, the menu unfolds and shows all the themes that you can find under this main menu. If you press the "-"you can close the menu.

Search

If you want to find specific content on this page, please use the "search" link in the top navigation or in the navigation under "Service". It will lead you to a search page (powered by Atomz) that allows you to enter the words you want to search for. The search engine searches this website only, i.e. all search results are from this website.

The search engine lists and presents the results in alphabetical file name order. Keywords have been defined manually for each specific page, so if you do not find the information you are looking for it is either not there, or the word you typed has not been defined as a keyword anywhere on the page.

Monitor resolution - Optimal view
Back to Addresses

The website is designed for optimal view on a 17-inch monitor with a minimum resolution of 800x600 pixels. This is a compromise between different technical preferences. A 15-inch monitor will not display the right hand frame of the website with resolution 640x480 to 600x800, but a 17-inch monitor will.

If, on the other hand, the website would have been designed to fit a 15-inch monitor optimally, a 17-inch/19-inch monitor (which normally run on resolutions above 1024x768) would display the website as very small, too small to read parts of the texts. It would be crammed up into the upper left corner and the texts would be like text size 6 on an A4-page.

So the compromise means disadvantages for older computers, or computers with monitors set on low resolutions. You can try a higher resolution by changing your settings under: Start (lower left corner) -> Settings -> System - > Monitor -> Settings, then set the resolution to the next higher choice. It takes some getting used to a new resolution, but mostly there are only advantages since "more things fit into the monitor".

Netscape Navigator
Back to Addresses

Older versions of Netscape Navigator (4-5) interpret the website's programming code differently than other browsers. If you have problems displaying the website properly, then update your Netscape browser to a newer version. Click on the symbol to the right to get the software.

Because most Netscape Versions also interpret java scripts differently, you might have problems using the "Back" links on the page. Use the browser's own "Back" and "Forward" buttons, or browse this website with Microsoft Explorer for optimal function.
